Welcome

A doorway into the centre of Florence.
And into another world.

Between the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio, on a street Florence has walked for seven hundred years, there is a threshold that smells of embers and warm bread. Inside, the ceiling is a sky of fairy lights and hot air balloons hang in mid-air — like time itself, here, at dinner.

True Tuscan cooking, wine from our hills, red-checked tables. The rest is wonder.

The dining room: a ceiling entirely covered in warm fairy lights with colourful hot air balloons hanging below

The dining room

A thousand lights. And a few balloons.

The ceiling everyone photographs before they even order: a firmament of warm little lights, with old-world hot air balloons, wine crates and hemp ropes drifting beneath it. It isn't set dressing — it's home.

The atmosphere

Like dining in flight
over Tuscany

Walls of Chianti and Brunello crates, black-and-white photographs, and the Fellini poster that gives the place its name. Every detail was hung, nailed and lit by hand — to make you look up between one course and the next.

Our signature

The rite of the Fiorentina

Four fingers thick, patiently dry-aged, turned only once over live embers. It arrives at the table rare — as Florence demands — with coarse salt, rosemary, and a glass of Chianti Classico waiting for it.

  • 30+ daysof dry-ageing
  • Live emberswood and charcoal
